The entire MS Gulf Coast is technically within that Northeast Quadrant of the storm! It is not that large an area. You can drive from Waveland to the Alabama line along the coast in two hours, and it only takes that long because the traffic on the Beach Road is slower than the Interstate. Actually, it only takes two hours to get to New Orleans from the Alabama line along I-10, and the storm is SO HUGH, hurricane force winds will be felt all along there. My sister, Joanne, and her husband live at our Fish Camp over near Pascagoula, and it got through Camille OK, so they should be fine.

Hi all - back from brunch buffett at the casino. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner all in one sitting. Waffles, pancakes, french toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, corned beef hash, prime rib, teriyaki chicken, pasta alfredo, salmon, fried cod, mashed potatos, a stuffed pepper and a roll.

We can barely move around. Hopefully, no one will offer us a wafer thin after-dinner mint.
