How about the process for formatting a hard drive?
I'm thinking it should be something more common - he's looking for the ability to explain something to a user. I dunno about you, but I don't *want* the average user to format a hard drive...not on a company machine, anyhow.
Maybe something like installing Acrobat Reader (EVIL!) or mapping a drive. Doesn't have to be anything too complex, I think. Probably just looking for language skills and the ability to break down a task to its smallest components.
