So good they have friends who share interests. Nice, too, for Matthew to have that one on one time with his friend.

And they're both homeschooled...so I don't have to worry about Matthew feeling "different".

Their parents go to our church and belong to our church homeschool group. But they don't mind him slicing bad guys up with light sabers on the Xbox. It seemed like a lot of the homeschoolers in my church wouldn't take their kids to see SW because it was too "dark"...but this kid's parents took him! So that means he can go with Matthew when we go so it at the cheap cinema again!

They're just very similar to us...

Celeste's boy has never seen any Star Wars or LOTR...he's 10 and watches Winnie the Pooh.

Needless to say, it puts a damper on the conversation between Matthew and him...they talk politics and American history. Which is good and has it's place!
