Morning OT - We're back from Gypsygirl's walk, beautiful day here. Coffee, hmmm. wonderful stuff.
SuziQ - got an email from a bow making buddy in MI. He's bout a 100 miles inland. Things are rough there and he drove to central MI to be with his relatives, they have some power and he was able to email me. He just got out of a body cast and halo from a broken back and neck. Very relieved to hear his old jeep and him were up to the trip.
The office is sending supplies to our office in Baton Rouge. Lots of folks have taken in relatives from further south. Our company is providing personnel to aid the assessment and rebuilding efforts, they asked for volunteers and two thirds of us volunteered. They only sent five and I wasn't one of them, (this time).
MI? ratz, MS as in mississippi. sheesh, apparently the caffine level is insufficient for coherent postings. Sheesh.
SO glad to hear that your friend is OK. Power was spotty all the way up to Jackson. As of yesterday, my brother still didn't have power, though some in the area did.
