Yah know... after I watched a family pulled off some roof yesterday morning by that CG helo... there were a couple of younger teen-aged black girls and what I suppose was their somewhat older brother (maybe 17, 18). I saw him look up at the coastie on his roof, then watching all around and up at the helo as he was hoisted out of there... and I thought:

That kid is going to join the Coast Guard. He's hooked, and maybe the sisters too. But he's a goner. You could see it in him.

I dunno, but I thought it was really neat.
