Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sand and Stone and Pool and Dell...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Yeah, pretty much....only had to use it once when I deleted an Access file (oops!) They have it set to do backups every day. Don't think I can change the schedule, but I can hit the "backup now" option. To retrieve files you check a box and hit the button.

You are a forensic detective! So, what are you going to do now that you've identified the killer.

I dunno...likely nothing, because I don't think an opossum will go to a whole lot of trouble to get in the coop. I'll just make sure the coop is secure.

It looks like a really good system. The cool part is the back end, and how efficiently it stores data. No duplicates. That's what makes it feasible. Otherwise the storage requirements would be overwhelming.

Cut the rest of the basil bush this afternoon
My basil survived the night, thank goodness! Think I will try to root a couple of stems too. Also am going to make a batch of pesto for my hairdresser. Since I haven't dared get any water in my eyes since my cataract surgeries, she has been washing my hair twice a week, she is such a sweetie!

You'll never catch me, copper! I'll get those chickens if it's the last thing I do!

Yeah, didn't look like we got any frost over this way. Hope it got the skeeters, though.

[yawn][stretch] At least this morning I get to pack up... head to the office for a couple of hours and then... off to the airport.
Yippeee! :-)
I'm ready to go home. Yep.

Yay! Home is good!
I'm stiff this morning, I think I overdid the kickboxing last night. And I've got a bruise on my arm from hitting myself.

Frost warning for tomorrow morning :-(
To: RMDupree
Heh heh!
I'm just glad it's not a coon. Or at least I don't think so...these particular tracks are not coon tracks anyways.
I'm going to continue to monitor the track marks, because I'm not 100% sure a skunk hasn't been milling around out there.
The only think I'd want to trap and get rid of would be dogs or coons. Skunks and opossums might kill a chicken if I left the door open, but wouldn't be able to if I secure the coop. Dogs can dig under and coons can figure out how to open the door or pull the chicken wire off. Maybe.

Home sweet home, huh?
Here's hoping you find something left after the "Capture of Josie (as she) Wails".
Poor Josie.
She was nice to me and OT at WeddingMoot. Then again, we were warned to be cautious with her.
