Mornin'!
Waiting for pics of the Chicken-Killer's tracks. :-D
I'm really leaning skunk, now...the track is definitely not a coon or opossum...too wide, you know?
Could be a dog, hard to tell...
YIKES!
Good morning!!
Rained here too...Steve had to collect samples last night.
Skunks are a lot smaller than raccoons aren't they? The skunks around here are about the size of a cat. Raccoons can be 20-30 pounds.
Yeah, I think so.
The track is definitely not a coon...coons have tracks that look like feet with long toes...this looks more like a paw.
Hmm, we need photographic evidence here so the junior detective league can get to work...
Some days I like this place (FR) less and less.
I'm just sayin'...
I'm getting ready to load it...I hope you can see it.
I hear ya. If it weren't for the Hobbit Hole....
Fine.... I'll leave. :~D
See ya later...
Dang! That was easy...
~sip~
See ya later. I'm uploading the photo of the track right now...will ping you to it.
Mornin'. ~sip~
Made the coffee good and strong this morning.
Though it's not as if much is due to happen. *sigh* I'm still waiting to hear back on the job I interviewed for two weeks ago, which makes me think they ain't interested. I've been calling the staffing agency that referred me so often that they're probably realllllly sick of me, but they haven't been told anything. I'm guessing the company I interviewed for hired candidates from a different staffing place.
Did get my thingie back from the admin test I took at the college. Out of a group of thirty or so, I ranked fourth. Which isn't bad...except that it means I won't be in the first group they bring in for the next opening. Unless, of course, one of the first three calls and says they're out of the running for one reason or another. We shall see.
On the bright side, it's nice and nippy out there. I love the way the air feels this time of year...
And here is the track, and if you look very closely you can see another faint track in the lower left-hand corner (I can see it, 'cause I know what to look for.) You can also tell it's been rained on...
heh heh!
I dunno what it is...sometimes I think it's a dog, sometimes I think "Naw..."
I do know that *something* is snuffling around back there...
I gotta find a better way to identify it.
My theory was that Puffy is a were-chicken who rips other chickens apart. But the track doesn't go with that.
Could it be a fox? Or are their feet narrower than that?
