...it's power cord snaked along the ground searching for a puddle to dip its prongs in.
The Toaster had it in for toads. There was just something about them that rankled.
Meanwhile, The Blender stands watching at the window, observing its nemesis' progress...
Blades spinning in agitation, The Blender fixed its gaze on the trailing power cord of The Toaster.
Okay....so they're frogs.
He winced when the moth that flew into the toaster slot found a firey death on the heating element. The toaster's menacing laugh was carried on the wind.
Faster than a movement spawned by 7-grain high fiber toast, the toaster grabbed the frog, placed him in the blender and proceeded to wipe out the hard drives of all the Nanowrimo participants....
Here skeeter, skeeter, skeeter...
A toaster that uses radiation to prevent toast burning has been given the go-ahead in the UK. By combining a household smoke detector with an electric toaster, it promises to deliver perfect toast every time.
But the frog was no ordinary frog, but rather a highly evolved being from another plane of existence vacationing on our humble planet. Having assumed the form of a toad slushie and energized by the magnetic fields of the hard drives, he dove into the toaster and shorted its coils.
And infrared isn't "radiation"? Silly science writers. I'm emmitting some right now.
I'm just reportin' what they said.
~~~zzzzzzzztttt~~~~~
Yeah I know. And they tend to copy-paste press releases without understanding stuff. Viva "journalism".
I'm not really sure how to take that seein' as how I just copy-pasted that...
;-)
I just have it out for science writers.
It ain't fer the lack of tryin'...
