Now I gotta think of something else... [sigh]
Well, what he really needs is one of those portable carports so he can get the truck under cover.
I'd knock out the wall in the garage if it was my truck, but it's not.
I saw that! ;o)
~smiles sweetly~
It is because of my restraint that it was only ~one~ small sneak ;~D
We've talked about moving the wall. It's not load-bearing, so it could be done. But it's still a nontrivial operation.
Hmm... I wonder how you get one of those awning things...
It's a slippery slope!
Just got in from "Mom's Night Out"...it's where we all go out to eat once a month and socialize. (BA CHEF)
I had a great time and often sat back in amazement...remember when I thought there would just be a handful of us? Well, there was 12 ladies there tonight and this activity is usually a pretty low-attended event! We had a GREAT time!
This year is really going to be much busier than any year before that you've known me...I've got two kids to teach, a support group to encourage, a disaster team to join...and that's just me! Not including the jedis extra stuff. I can do it too...finally...now that Steve is home.
I've been running full speed since first thing this morning...I'm going to bed now. :-)
See ya!
That's pretty close to what he's got now.... only many years older and kinda rickety now.

The metal ones are around a thousand bucks
Metal Carports & Metal Building Kits For Your Car Truck or RV
Hah! I was just about to post that link. Would never get one in time, but that sort of thing would work well.
Hah! You too! Thanks!
They sell them at places like Home Depot... and probably Sears... I'd think. maybe even boat and RV supply places. It's just a thought.
I'll check it out.
You don't suppose he really wants a nice big plasma TV do you? :-)
He hasn't mentioned it to me, no ;~D
I'm planning on bringing up Hitchhiker's Guide on Sunday.... thought it'd be a pretty good Dad and Dona movie...
Um... {sorry}... I already got HHGTTG. Bought it to watch on the plane on the way home. It was an impulse buy.
It would be watchable for Dona... I wonder if they'll 'get it'. Maybe... maybe not. It's worth a try. But it may be one those that if you haven't read the books it'll just be gobbledygook.
