Didn't see it on CNN....it was on the local news chanel around 5:00.
Vey strange! I'm hoping they showed more a little later in the morning. Clare DVR'd until noon, so somewhere in those 5 hrs I hope we got it.
How about going to the local school's music dept., local homeschool group, and music stores to see if you could put up fliers for private lessons...just a thought...they make good money here...at least $10.00 for half an hour and tax free.

It's an idea! Frankly, though...I don't feel that I'm good enough yet to teach someone else, especially considering how many truly great musicians there are in this town. I've really only been playing mando for a few years, and the average kid that has more time than me could surpass me in a matter of months. But someday, maybe!
*sigh* Honestly, I really want lessons myself! I've really not lived somewhere where I could take 'em, and I'd love to seriously study classical guitar, for one, with someone to tell me when I'm not holding my hands right or when my timing is off and all that. It's one of the reasons I was hoping to make a little more than just rent and expenses.

Same here. But I always catch up on e-mail and posts here first. Which is probably *not* the best way to go about it, but...
That's why I like soda. Just open a can and it's ready, no preparations to worry about.

Heh...yah, I had to explain the other day why I was buying a decaf coffee in the afternoon after having two full sized travel mugs full of the regular stuff earlier.
Because...I don't like it when it feels like my heart is trying to escape my chest. Definitely high in caffeine, coffee is.
Every day is my Friday right now. Or, alternatively, every day is my Monday.
