Man.... I really, really wish I had a washer and dryer. At least there are some in this building, I don't have to go to a laundromat.
And they're both homeschooled...so I don't have to worry about Matthew feeling "different".
Their parents go to our church and belong to our church homeschool group. But they don't mind him slicing bad guys up with light sabers on the Xbox. It seemed like a lot of the homeschoolers in my church wouldn't take their kids to see SW because it was too "dark"...but this kid's parents took him! So that means he can go with Matthew when we go so it at the cheap cinema again!
They're just very similar to us...
Celeste's boy has never seen any Star Wars or LOTR...he's 10 and watches Winnie the Pooh.
Needless to say, it puts a damper on the conversation between Matthew and him...they talk politics and American history. Which is good and has it's place!

Suzi, I am so relieved to hear that they're safe. Good news is always welcome, but more so now than ever. ;-D
We'll still be praying for the family members who lost everything and have to make a fresh start!

Don't think I have room in my freezer....I'd have to render them first.

Good evening! I've been trying to avoid the news all day - including FR - because it just makes my angry. Ran some errands today, took the inlaws out for a birthday dinner, etc. We're planning a low-key weekend.
Low-key is good! I got my homework done, thought about researching stuff, and did all the errands I should need to do this week.
