mornin' folks...
Took it upon myself last night to put together a chronology of Katrina's path. Silly dwarf. I'm still workin' on it. Hope to post it to my blog later today.
But for now, gotta make a haircut run. And drop off some tents and other supplies for a truck heading down to Mississippi. It's a family member that lives near here. He's located his family and is heading directly back.
I'll check in later.

SO glad to hear that your friend is OK. Power was spotty all the way up to Jackson. As of yesterday, my brother still didn't have power, though some in the area did.

Hi folks, spending a little time at the library!
Still steaming from some of the anti-Bush, anti conservative attacks from the lefties and many black 'leaders'! Some of them seemed gleeful that they had another reason to hate Bush -- up to 10,000 dead people is just another way to make political points!

Surprised to see the gas prices down here. Well, I guess down is relative. It's 2.99 at Quick Trip Stations, Conoco is supposed to be doing similar reductions.

With less time to excape to sanity here on FR it is getting anoying! AP just said that there are federal depots of fire and rescue equipment, and none of it has been sent to NO! Doesn't AP know that fire and rescue trucks can't be used in a flood!!
