Yep...it's still far from the end of the ordeal, but at least I know when the next step's gonna happen! ;-)

I'm glad I've got a time and date! Dr. Laura is pretty insistent about those things...

Glad you got the interview time set up!
As for Rose's interview, "Don't know how it went" was about all I got out of her. She's busy worrying and second-guessing herself, but that's normal.

Hi alkhin,
We started math already. I'm attending a seminar tomorrow and Saturday for Spell to Write and Read (language arts program), then we can begin that on Monday. After Labor Day, we should be in full swing.
Did you go to the Well Trained Mind seminar?
To: RosieCotton
Yay!...and it's before Labor Day so you can still wear white shoes.

Yep!
Wonder how long after Thursday it'll take 'em to make a decision. Not long, I hope.
The lady who called said to expect about forty five minutes of actual interview and another fifteen for a tour and a chance to meet the rest of the team. I'm glad they're doing that...showing interviewees around and all.

Heh...yep!
Wish the white shoes didn't hurt like the dickens. It's either wear those or run out and buy shoes over the weekend, though. And if I HAVE to buy something, I'd rather spend it on a dress.

Oh, good, you got the interview scheduled! Excellent! And Monday at 1, so you'll be done 2ish, maybe we can take the same bus home! (I usually get the 2:15).
You do know how to get from the bus to The Ugliest Building, right?

You do know how to get from the bus to The Ugliest Building, right?Yep. Heh...I was able to say I knew how to get to the building. Dunno if that gives me brownie points or makes me look overeager...
But I do soooo want this job. Have I mentioned that recently?
I take it they're on the top floor? I was a little surprised when she told me the flour number...I hadn't realized the building was that tall. Or maybe they number it funny. Heh...at the college where I worked, the ground floor in the main building was the third floor.

For that matter, what *is* a flour number?

Yeah, top floor. Take the elevator, the stairs are dreadful. Floor 2 and 3 are us, dunno what the others are.

Is the elevator obvious when you walk in?
Goin' to the grocery in a bit for milk and laundry quarters. Is there anything you need me to pick up?

what a relief to have a date!
I've gots dates, two, actually. Just got back from the cataract surgeon, and I've got 'em in both eyes, so they are both coming out!! I've worn glasses since I was in the second grade so I'm having a real hard time wrapping my mind around not putting on my glasses to see the alarm clock. Keeping your tip in mind, 2J. Sleeping sounds really good, let the body heal naturally!!
