Don't you just hate when The History Channel or National Geographic Channel airs these completely unchallenged programs? Don't you hate it even more when you can't stop yourself from watching?

That these UFO, ghost, and other paranormal documentaries air on "educational" channels tells me all I need to know about their criteria for "authenticity".
Besides, Bill Clinton settled TWO things when he took the White House. Like any hillbilly redneck, he inquired about UFOs and the JFK assassination.
And THIS man had his finger on the button. What a maroon.

There are people who still think that "Survivor" is unscripted and "real"... not
manufactured reality".
Oh, and there are still people who believe that socialism works, and that 27 week-old "embryos" are not "human".
Funny how the only constant denominator in these populations is that theyre Liberal.

Sort of like watching COPS. You can't stop watching it even though you need a shower afterwards.

What are you doing watching The History Channel while Hannity and Colmes are doing the pre-show warmup for Greta Van Susteren and Natalee Holloway, LIVE! From Aruba?

----According to the History Channel, GWB chose Cheney and Rumsfeld because he knew they would maintain the UFO secrets.---- And they will, too. I'll bet you right here and now that Don and Dick will let not a WORD about UFOs slip for the rest of this administration. Not one. These are a couple of guys you can count on. :)

Reminds me of the show I saw once on the History channel that said that steel was made by beating carbon out of iron.

Nononono.
Bush was told ordered controlled via a satellite mounted mind-control device (invented by Russia in the 1950's with the help of the CIA) by Rove to hire Cheney and Rumsfeld to keep the truth of UFO's quiet. Geez, get it right.

Portrayals of UFO folk are naturally negative, because the potential for truth makes many uncomfortable.
I look down on dismissive, giggling skeptics with an equally patronizing glare.

Rarely does the HC air such assertions unchallenged, and unless I am completely mistaken, the program that you refer to did not present the UFO conspiracy theory as true.
There are two subjects on which the country is split as if they were matters of faith: UFOs and the Kennedy assassination. Indeed, given the lack of definitive proof, those are virtually matters of faith, offering our secular society contemporary substitutes for theological argument.
