I wouldn't worry too much about it, BQ; first of all, I honestly don't think there's anything you can do about it....you'd have to prove intent in a libel suit....libel suits are very difficult to prove...then, you'd have to prove harm....maybe your name has been harmed....but, to what extent is your damage? I am assuming you are fairly obscure (except in FR where you're infamous, of course : )....so, what damage will occur....now, if your employer fired you because the article, or if you are self-employed and ptoential customers/clients won't hire you because they cited this article to you...then, you'd have a better case, I would think, in showing damages....but, libel suits are pretty tricky...and even though sharky thinks I'm tricksy...I couldn't help you on this one, lol. : )

Thank you very much to all of you. My employer is a big PC place, but we are allowed to write letters to ed on our own time as long as we (obviously) don't discuss where we work... and if anyone read the original letter, there is no "bigot" or "radical racist" language in there. The PC newspaper never would have published it in the first place if they thought it was remotely "ignorant." I simply hadn't realized that even mentioning how "white people" are discriminated against to ignorant liberal America-haters would trigger such a demented reaction. But who knows how those warped minds work.

Thank you for being here for me. *sniff, sniff*

Welcome.

The Dems love to do that kind of stuff.
Heck, look at how they went after justice Thomas.

But who knows how those warped minds work.

Uh......darks knows! : )

They are warped, BQ.....totally. I'm thinking of buying Ann Coulter's book: "How to Talk to a Liberal - - if you have to" : )

Well.. firstly, 'working' is somewhat misleading when talking about their minds.
You have to lead them through a thought.
But if they are slightly smarter than the average Dem, they will spot where the thought is going and pull out the F-bomb to try and stop the thought from showing up.

Afternoon everyone.. Just got back behind the keyboard. Had kids visiting the pool, and my husband took me out for a nice lunch of crispy fried clams and homemade onion rings. Yum...

Then of course I had to have a short nap..lol.

Oh by the way, Resty. We watched the "third" DVD of 24 this morning. All four hours. We are picking up four and five for the weekend.

Wow...what a good show. I only have about two and three quarter years of it to go before Oct..lol..but it so addicting.

Isn't that the show you always watch?

I have Ann's book! I'd better go read it. I brought it to show a lib at work last year, and his beady eyes almost popped out of his troll head.

I also really, really need M. Savage's book right now ("Liberalism is a Mental Disorder") I really like him - he detests liberal 'thinking,' but isn't a brainwashed mouthpiece for the GOP either.

Consider this your first purple heart. It's a war you'll be fighting for a long time, most of your life if you can handle it, and there are a lot more battles to come. The good news to hang on to: They are dumb, spineless slugs.

Huah! Take the next hill!

You do need, however, to put some of that tough snakeskin on when you go into battle.........pink frillies won't do in this case............:-)

Not sure how the adjustment went. She seemed worse in the car on the ride home. She now seems to be hanging on at the same level. Problem is we've got more company coming tomorrow......

*sharky be working overtime*
