I love mideastern food it is so tasty!
I remember one time in the late 60's I work as waitress for a few days in a Lebanese restaurant in Detroit, it was called "Cedar's of Lebanon" they had belly dancing.
One time I bump into some one who I did not know was one of the owners I said "excuse me!" I was taught manners and was around 23 years old than.
He snarled back at me ("excuse me!") "What for! he growled, you Americans don't mean it!"
the way he said it,
I got such a chill that ran through my whole being...
Today as I reflect now I realized how far back that enmity was brewing!
Little did I know the hearts of some that were living and doing what they like among us as, as we befriended them like a neighbor!
Today I know who, and what they are capable of!
