It will certainly not be the same without him. He has been with me through so much.

Good afternoon, Resty. I've been keeping sick grandkids for four days. They fell down like kingpins, one in a row, from stomach flu. Oh joy! I am too old to be running around with the bucket for upchucking kids, I tell you.
Its strange, but I almost never catch what they have. I think working in the hospital for years has made me immune because I caught a little bit of every contagious illness. For years now, I have taken care of sick hubby, daughter and grandkids and never gotten sick myself. But, oh, I get the chronic illness. LOL

After these many months without CC, I would like to have a kitten. But, I don't know where I will be in a few months in my situation. I loathe to think I will have to move somewhere that does not allow pets.
To: sweetliberty
My condolences Sweets.
Nermal was a good kitty.

There's a part of me that thinks it would be a little easier if I got a kitten, but there's another part that thinks it will be nice not to have to worry about taking care of one for awhile, with as much as I'm gone. Besides, Nermal will be a hard act to follow. He was very special. I'll probably eventually get another kitty, but it will probably be awhile.

Oh, I know what you mean about Nermal being a hard act to follow. There are only a few special pets in one's life, I think.
That kitten that I got for the grandkids is still crazy. He is so hyper, he is constantly stalking them and jumping into the bathtub. Of course, being chased by them might be the cause of his craziness. LOL

He seems to have had a sense of humor.
That is a cute pic of him.
Is it alright if I save it?

Certainly! You can one of the classic "catnip harvest" pics too, if you want. They are some of my favorites.

Seems like there are a lot of Cindys running around loose these days...I think she and them are just symptomatic of the whole thing.. The USA is in a decline and will eventually collapse like every other great power that has come along..Just wish I could have left before it all happened............
....Westy.....
