She's an incompetent and should be fired, but isn't...that's what's wrong with the picture! : )
Now this is Scandalous their are no Squirrls or Nuts! LOL
Somebody else was slacking and didn't get testing dealt with before the end of the probationary period deadline, so it is a lot harder to do. I think the hope is that she will realize she can't handle it and quit. Some people are just not cut out for this sort of work. Not only that, but all of our jobs are interdependent and we all have the responsibility of making a lot of important decisions which require us to be able to think and act independently and often to be able to justify those actions in court. None of us have time or energy for a lot of handholding and mollycoddling of coworkers. We need to be able to depend on each other's ability to do our jobs. If somebody drops the ball, there can be serious consequences. We're dealing with people's lives and take that very seriously. Everyone has been very patient up to this point, but patience has worn very thin.
understandably; hopefully she will quit or ask to be transferred somewhere else.
Seattle Skyline
About that time again,so, Goodnight yall...
.....Westy....
that's a beautiful picture, westy. Goodnight, sweet dreams.
Westy didn't know you had it in you that is lovely thanks for the view!:)
You must have placed another chip at my office, because that EXACTLY describes another person we have. She is a young 20-something coop - call me old-fashioned, but I have a work ethic. She's off on vacation now right before she becomes a permanent employee. The rest of us are working 10 - 12 hour days, exhausted. Even when she was here, she would charm her way out of actual work. She'd tell me she was "milking it" (her pet projects). She wants to be CEO within five years. Yeah, right. She would feign sickness then call in from the gym. She'd work an hour then disappear to do "errands." ON top of it, she just dumped her Air Force BF - WHO IS IN IRAQ - for another guy she just picked up at the gym.
Whoops! I thought I got to fill it in since no one else was answering. Me bad.
I was just teasing ya....your list works for me since no one else is game, lol! : )
So, Mako Shark Marsala it is....you and I will enjoy, the others can watch! : )
I got thirteen of them and then had to go do something.
*sigh*
Our new worker worked for 2 1/2 weeks, then took a 2 week vacation, but only because it was already planned and it was ok'd ahead of time. She's been back for one day and already accomplished more than the other one did the whole time she was gone.
incredible
*smack, smack, lips puckering and watering*
How do these people get away with this stuff?
Mako Shark Marsala
This is a great substitution for those, who don't like to eat veal. The
mako is so tender you probably won't need to use a knife.
4 mako shark steaks three quarters to one inch thick
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 tablspoons flour
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup dry marsala
1/2 cup water
1 tablspoon parsley, minced
Place shark slices on waxed paper and sprinkle with salt, pepper and flour.
Using a large skillet over medium heat, sauté shark slices about 2 minutes
each side until crusty and lightly browned. Transfer shark to a plate and
keep warm. Reduce heat to low and stir in Marsala and water. Return shark
to skillet and cover. Simmer approximately 15 minutes. Sprinkle with
parsley just before serving.
Serves four.
Now....on to the appetizers and cocktails.....suggestions?
sounds good, huh?!
