Sounds like, maybe, you didn't have enough blood nourishment at howling hours. : )

I'll butt in here...Usually starts in ones later years....If you look at a grid some of the lines look curved instead of straight or the center of the grid disappears....They can probably look into ones eyes and see it coming before you notice it. There are little grid charts available, so I'd say any eye doc can tell...

So, when I had my appt. a few months ago for my eyeglasses....with the optometrist, who also did the glaucoma check....she should have been able to tell, you'd guess, about anything wrong? She also checked my color vision, it seemed; I don't recall that kind of test before...she displayed numbers/letters with a red background then a green background (I think) and asked which one was clearer for me.....
