Rush is AWOL again

Posted on 08/08/2005 9:16:50 AM PDT by Tobor

Where is he off to this week ?

Golf ?

If he wants a radio show he should be on it more often.

I'm tired of this.

He has a charity commitment. He announced it Friday. Sheesh.

Hey...there's a whole world out there beyond Rush, even this place, so I recall. Rent a movie, fly a kite, listen to some Bach.

That dork who was the Mayor of San Diego is awful. Does Rush still have that guy on?

Why doesn't he get Mark Levin to guest host? Guy is totally awesome and hilarious on his own show.

Belling is much more feisty and entertaining on his local show. When he's behind the golden EIB mike, he tones it waaay down - too far down IMO.

As an alternative for the day, I invite you all to listen to Billy Cunningham on 700 WLW out of Cincinnati. He's a great Reagan Republican. (And he's really entertaining).

"AWOL?" Is his employer looking for him or something?

"If he wants a radio show"? He HAS a radio show and he also has a life. Which do you have?

I think you should get a grip and stop acting like the automaton the Democrats and liberals accuse you of being.

You are correct.

I and many others will find something else to do during his time-slot if he does not show up more often.

Proper phrase to use is "mind numbed robot"

I love it when he has Walter E. Williams fill in. That guy's a riot. Why they can't get him more often is beyond me.

Well, Jay Leno was no Johnny Carson, either.

I do like his show, when he is on it.

Is there something wrong with that ?

I started listening to Denis Prager when Rush is off. He's an interesting guy and I like his show, but he's no Rush.

Williams is the only really good regular guest host. In fact, I'd just as soon listen to him as Rush.

Williams is tough to listen to more than once a week. First, his coughing is distracting. Second, he has too many pauses and "um"'s. Third, he tends to talk about subjects, not topics, so it's not as current as other hosts.
