I think cheap and simple is the way to go. You lose some stores, but who needs them?

New Hampshire for the summer and Arizona for the winter. I think I'd like the Hanover area (near Dartmouth) in New Hampshire. It's probably full of leftist collegians but college towns are more fun. In Arizona I think somewhere between Phoenix and Flagstaff. The winter will be cool, I understand but I like it cool
Mena, Arkansas in the Quachita Mountains. We are actually moving there in a few months. My husband and I are only in our thirty's so we aren't retiring yet, but this is where we plan to stay when we do. Ya'll check it out! It's very beautiful and could probably use a few Freepers.

I retired five years ago at age 52. We love to travel and I like to find cool weather. Can't tolerate heat well.
