Y'know what's funny?

That "Cooter" wants us to share his outrage that this new version of his POS show is a disrespectful remake with too much violence and sexuality. The ORIGINAL was too violent and sexy back then, according to all the pundits and culture priests who damned it.

Garbage in, garbage out

Bwaa haaa, surely you jest. Daisy wore her "hotpants" but she always carried herself like a lady. There was always a moral behind the story. Not today, Hollywood has gone overboard with the sex and violence...actually the sexuality is what gets on my nerves. It's in overdrive!

I do not jest in the least.

The "innocent" Dukes pushed the envelope as far as the times would allow--in other words, they were going for all the actions and suggestion of sex they could. As for hot-panted Daisy carrying "herself like a lady." Yeah, okay. You must be a Southerner. Seriously, if you are one, and you're old enough to remember the show, then you're old enough to remember REAL ladies, and they did not comport themselves like Daisy, who did not know the word comport.
