Underwood and Martin beat out other famous veggie lovers including David Duchovny, Reese Witherspoon, Avril Lavigne, Joaquin Phoenix and Prince.

All people listed have weird looking skin...

Through my years, I had been with a number of vegetarian girls. And for some reason, by the time I'd known them six months, every one of 'em developed sudden and overwhelming cravings for steak.

Not a one of 'em are vegetarians anymore. I feel oddly proud of that.

Carrie Underwood, who beat out Bice to win the "American Idol" crown in May, was voted the "World's Sexiest Vegetarian" in PETA's annual online poll.

That'll help her C&W career. Who's her agent--Natalie Maines?

And a Nomination for World's fattest vegetarian: Meatloaf (Ironic name)

I guess chocolate is not considered meat.

There's nothing wrong with a vegan lifestyle. I've met a few over the years and they've told me that they do eat well and can achieve full nutrition from that lifestyle.

Truth be told, I've scaled back on my meat intake over the last few years. I've read a few horror stories and that's convinced me to make some minor changes in my diet.

But I could never practice a complete vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. The urge to do battle with a 12 oz sirloin or a plate of tasty bacon is too overwhelming.

I read where Joaquin Phoenix (strange looking person, IMHO) is a chain smoker. Real health nut, that one.

I wonder if the reason Carrie is a vegetarian is because she loves animals so much? I think she was studying to be a veterenarian.

Hey PETA!
Do you think this guy's sexy?

No one will ever convince me that vegetarianism is sexy, or healthy.

We are killers, we humans. Born and bred. Our teeth are a carnivores and our gut is designed to break down proteins, predominately from other animals.

Vegetarianism is an abberation. A hypersensitivity to the "suffering" of non-sapient species that borders on the delusional.

But, it's a free planet. In my opinion you not only have a right to life, but a right to chose when to end that life. Just don't come crying to me when your restricted diet starts screwing with your ligature or your nervous system because you aren't getting the right kinds of amino's from your carrots and soybeans.

Vegetarians have always looked sallow and unhealthy to me. The two in the article are no exception.

"Gwyneth Paltrow, made headlines when they gave their 1-year-old daughter, Apple, a vegan birthday cake."

That stupid cake, plus the ridiculous name, are reasons enough to put Gwyneth into a crooked nursing home.

How come these Peta tards never mention a very famous vegetarian, Hitler?

I'm a vegetarian. I'm also a militant conservative of the Dark Side school.

Make distinctions between vegetarians who are PETA idiots and those who are following a variation of my grandfather's old dictum, "Self denial is good for the soul".

For me, it is a discipline, and a good one. I would not force it on others.

Regards, Ivan
