In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
propinquity \pruh-PING-kwih-tee\, noun
1. Nearness in place; proximity.
2. Nearness in time.
3. Nearness of relation; kinship.

a week or so ago, Ed Meese referred to him as CHUCKIE on Hannity and Colmes and Alan took great umbrage at that! it was funny.
I figure these camp counselors use these stupid names for themselves in a desperate bid to make sure the brats don't track them down to their homes and get revenge.
The proprinquity of the London bombings, today & two weeks ago, lead me to the sad conclusion: we can't live with Muslims.

what are you shopping for and where are you going to the beach?
New beachy clothes and a bday gift for our hostess. We are going to visit with friends in Gulf Shores. Saturday is her birthday party, and hopefully Sunday we are going deep sea fishing. I just bought 40 spf sunscreen for that venture.
