How come the media has stopped talking about the crime of the century? What could possibly be more important than a missing teenage girl in Aruba?
They've completely distorted their priorities. < /sarcams>
I don't think you've been on FR enough, liberal lurker. Come back after you've had four years. :)
I feel pretty bad for Beth having to watch all the media suddenly pack up and go-go-go. I bet even her new "friend" Greta said "It was great, gotta go, catch'ya later, lotsa' luck!" and moved on." I bet Trapp, and Urine, and Marianne, and Steve Croes, and Paulus and all the other usual suspects are drinking their drinks of choice and chilling for the first time in 38 days, and the island is now getting back to some semblance of normality.
But I feel a little bad for Beth. I bet nobody will even talk to her today. Well, she needs to get some sleep. And Equusearch will keep searching.
It is true they love flashing that lovely face up on the screen because they know people will stop what they're doing and look. Very ghoulish.
*snort. No fair spoiling my sport. That one doesn't count.
Note to WolfRunnerWoman: use of language like "narrow-minded" and "broad brush" will lead to automatic questioning of conservative credentials.
Great post. Enough is enough with this incredible waste of time with the media, in particular Foxnews, covering these most insignificant stories when we are in such a crucial time of our history fighting the war on terror and a having a lot of important domestic issues to deal with.
Yep! I would laugh all the way to the bank.
Bwahahahaha. You too funny.
While this young girl's certain death and disposal (for whatever reason) is certainly tragic and wrong and needs to be concluded with several convictions, I think we ought to take a look at the whole story.
Why are we shipping our kids to Mexico and to places in the Caribbean and Central America without teaching them how to look after themselves? This lovely young lady went off with 3 locals in a private car after dark if the stories I hear are to be believed.
You wouldn't do that in downtown Detroit or DC or East St Louis or Miami or Watts or...
Where are the parents? What the hell are they teaching (or not teaching) their kids? My kids not going off to places like that without a significant lesson on looking after themselves. Going off like she did is tantamount to voting Democrat across the board. Only more immediate.
I think the london bombings were organized by Sharks from around the world.
Exactly!
Than we have to see the mother have her temper tantrums 24 hrs a day and the step-father rolling his eyes and making faces whenever someone says something he doesnt like.
ENOUGH already!! Greta, and Geraldo, and Fox news, okay we got it, a girl is missing and the angry mother is your best friend ok we got it, guess what its NOT news and we are all burned out seeing Natalees pix and her friends.
The only ones who are acting in an adult manner are the Father Dave Holloway and his wife. Their faces aren't plastered on TV 24 hrs a day. They are concerned parents who are trying to find a missing daughter not looking to be a self-centered TV star. The mother would get more help if she quit demanding and quit acting like a me-me- its all about me self-centered angry person. Speech therapist? Hmm.
It was soooooo refreshing not to see these people at all on any of the stations except for the blip on Greta, hopefully final interview with Beth.
I really couldnt handle it anymore the same thing over and over and over, it got to the point where we put our CD's on and listened to music and totally shut off the TV. Almost missed the REAL Stories about our President at the G8 conference and the hurricane about to hit and the terrible tragedy of the terroists in London.
PLEASE Fox, NO MORE Beth, her little hubby and Natalee pix!!
Get back to talking about hurricanes, our Pres, politics, SCOTUS!
Let's put it this way, with hurricane season upon up they will not find her body. She's gone. It's sad but I bet she was fish food along time ago.
Did you really think the media CARED?
LOL!
They can get better ratings with hurricanes now!
Tootles, Natalie - the media can no longer think of a reason to talk about you - I think their bored with the stonewalling too.
More seriously, my heart goes out to her mother and loved ones. I can't imagine what they are going through.
I miss Whorealdo's shirtless body.
