Google doesn't have a 4th of July logo.

Surprise! No 4th of July graphics at Google. They must have been really encouraged by the flak they got on Memorial Day.

Glad to see they are with the rest of the US today :)

It just took them a while.

Hope you're having nice weather for the Fourth.

We're having a dust storm.

And explosions.

Nostalgic yet? ;-)

Maybe some capable Freepers will take to doing political commentary with the Google logo.

Maybe a "Love Mao and Marx, Not America" message superimposed 50% through a Google logo that uses Chinese font.

Hey, it had to send you off in style, didn't it?

I just went and got a cold beer from the cooler out where the festivities are beginning on our compound. I'm sipping on it while I finish issuing a P.O.

If I could work like this every day, I might stay here.

(NOT!)

LOL!!!

yeah I dont miss it one bit :)

Of course I was up until 1 AM shooting off fireworks last night and then had to work today too, so it really isn't THAT much different...

except the wife is here, and there is grass on the ground, and there are clouds in the skies, and I can get beer at the gas stations, and I can GO to the gas stations, and...

:)

Shees. More shadow boxing from the right-to-dictate-private-business-practices crowd.

No one is dictating how Google should run its business, but rather we are simply pointing out how Google has a logo for every obscure observance such as Van Gogh's birthday, world water day, earth day, and international women's day, but somehow manages to overlook Memorial Day, and Independence day (until about 9:10 AM EST).

Every year since 2000 Google does a 4th layout. The tighty whitey crowd here got their shorts in a knot because it didn't happen fast enough. Waiting to pounce on private business practices is not "simply pointing something out".
