I just saw that Luther Van Dross passed away. I'm running out of cool R&B singers! Isaac Hayes, George Benson and Al Jareau are all that are left by my count and George and Al are really jazz singers....

The problem I see is our RINO members - will they go along with the libs? I continue to pray for "spines" for those in need.

Yes, let the fireworks begin. Before it is over, the gunpowder of the fireworks will turn into nuclear fission because the demoCRAT will demand it have its way.

Yes, his death was getting some extra coverage here with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Young, really...

Hugh Hewitt ( I think it was he) last evening suggested Ann Coulter. If for nothing else to see how the Dems could handle it.

I love it!

I've been saying Ann all along just to watch the Dems explode!

Considering the way they're dying off at such a rapid rate, I think we should place Isaac Hayes in protective custody. Without him, we won't have "Shaft" and of course, he is Chef on "South Park"... ;^)

DemonCRATS have forgotten 9/11.

Thankfully America hasn't.

Also with the latest antics of the Supreme Court, including property rights, and the 10 Commandments, America will tire of these excessive rulings.

As I stated earlier, Sandra's resigning could not have come at a better time.

Gotta get going.

Am taking my son down to Milwaukee, as part of a birthday present, to see Santana.

Must get the car ready.

Have a great weekend, and we'll see you all on Monday or Tuesday.

God Bless, and Stay Free!

And Sen. Kennedy, as far as I'm concerned YOU are partially responsible for those faraway deaths last week.

Iwould go so far as to say that he was not 'partially' responsible, Molly. He is directly responsible for giving our enemies the direction that killing American heroes is in keeping with the objective of 'America is in a quagmire and needs to pull out immediately' which kennedy adheres to.

DemonCRATS have forgotten 9/11.

Not only have they forgotten it, but they wish that they would have had their guy in there so we would not only have NOT gone into Iraq, but I contend that we would not even have gone into Afghanistan (no matter how many filthy liberals say they supported it).

I love Issac Hayes. He was in cleveland a few months ago for RockRoll Hall of Fame function. He was there for a member's guest "chat" as they call them. I was front row & got a LOT of great shots. He mostly chatted but did a few numbers. He is one cool guy. The auditorium was small - but packed. Off for a bit..

The RATS wish 9-11 never happened, but for a different reason than the rest of us. Any sane person laments the loss of 3,000 lives for no useful gain. The RATS lament Osama sending in those hijackers on NY, PA, and DC because it destroyed any chance they had of regaining power. 9-11 sealed their fate as the party no one in their right mind trusts to control national security issues, and it drives them nuts. The U-Boat Commander doesn't raise national discussion by calling Iraq a quagmire. He's trying to drag the GOP down to the RATS level.

Your pooch sounds lazier than my Beanie. When she's in the house, she'll welcome you with a couple wags of her tail, but she's still laying on her side. At least she stands while she munches.

Sorry you're not feeling well.

Mind if I share your room at Freeper General?

I have managed to re-injure my back...........it had been feeling fine after 2 months of therapy............but the combination of sitting at a piano for 3+ hours every night, and a slight fall last week at rehearsal while crawling into the orchestra pit (don't ask) have put me back at square one, pain-wise.:(

I've been trying to get by with heat & aspirin, but just called in a re-fill on the Vicodin. Hate to do it but sometimes it's just too painful.

Of course I can't take it until I'm done teaching/driving/rehearsing for the night because it makes me soooo drowsy..........but I'll take it when I can........hoping to avoid more PT......still paying for the first round........

Oh, Mozie, I am so sorry. I just got up...been sleeping all morning. The nausea has left but I am still weak and my back anad legs hurt. (This is the same progression of the virus that my huband and grandkids had). I am trying to get better as quickly as possible because I am hosting a family cook-out tomorrow.

Taking a break from yardwork.

Jane and Mozie,

Nita, Oh my goodness what an ordeal we are having with NYS inspection on Sarah's car. We took it in on the 13th of June....safety-passed-- emissions-failed due to OBD not ready. G. checked a few things and found 2-3 wires broken and the check engine light burned out. Fixed. Took it back for re-inspection yesterday...failed again....

Soooooo we're thinking what the heck is wrong? Does it need a new PCM or whatever? We went back to the shop this morning and find that....the shop's equipment could not read the car's OBD due to the DMV's website and the shop's equipment not working properly. They will try to re-re inspect today.

The shop owner did say that it was probably the DMV's mistake because it also didn't pass a fairly new Corvette.

What a pain right in the arse this new emission law is. A royal pain.
