I had the old style gall bladder surgery back in the early 80's. Large scar etc etc. I know for a fact that you don't want to do squat for a long time after that. All I could think of for the first 2 days is when is the next morphine shot coming. I know that with the epidural and morphine drips, that pain is controlled much better now, but his recovery is sorta ludicrous. And remember he was making plans to go someplace 3 days after the Whipple.
No way in hell would skinner post there. He rarely posts on his own board.
I have spoken with Earl and assured him that despite what the freepers say he is not responsible for the actions of a few rogue members of the site.
I can't imagine skinner saying this on a public forum.

Are we to assume he is so ill, but on occasion gains moments, seconds, of strength to, not thank his contributors, but instead type on his laptop to bash Bev Harris? Andy remains hospitalized and his "friend" William Rivers Pitt (if that is his real name) writes nary a word about it. Why has William Rivers Pitt (ITIHRN) abandoned Andy, his "friend" and "hero"?

Isugardia has it backwards. The surgery was supposedly urgent and could have been done free, but instead Andy opted out of the free care and posponed the surgery to raise enough money to go to JHH.
I am sending Andy many positive thoughts tonight; I know that many, many others will be doing the same thing. I could not have a job where I told a man "Sorry, if you can't come up with the $50,000, I guess you'll have to die. Sorry about that."
So this deluded fool believes that the red round one was 'denied' lifesaving surgery and had to beg for the money. Where do these people come from?
Saw that. A few posts above that someone suggests that they might send money. Wonder if the red round one is an 'unhappycamper'?
