One is beginning to think perhaps the Andyites should take up a collection to hire competent legal guidance, as they haven't shown any expertise in that field themselves.

And, as usual, their hysteria and rage betrays some, uh, panic and desperation.

By the way, it needs noted that in this current discussion, there are no members of the DUmmie FUnnies, no owners of Scamdy, present, they having been "banned" near the beginning of this now-three-days-long "discussion."

It is reasonable to assume those taking the part of asking questions are authentic legitimate honest sincere liberals, leftists, progressives, Democrats, deeply concerned that these actions of a few rich middle-ageds acting like kids might hurt their side.

To which those of us on this side say, nah; we can differentiate between honest legitimate liberals, leftists, progressives, and Democrats, and some rich "kids" trying to pull a scam. This is not an ideological issue, but a criminal issue that has nothing to do with politics, other than that politics is being used by a few on the other side for pecuniary, not noble, purposes.

Per request, I shall link all past DUmmie Alert!s at the end of each thread, leading to the next one, although really, one is saved a lot of time and trouble by asking to be put on the DUmmie Alert! ping list, in which case one is directed to the latest DUmmie Alert! no matter where it appears on Free Republic.

I suspect there are many here who avoid these posts/threads, given all that has gone down re this issue all over the internet. I know I have hit the "x" more times than once here, in order to not become involved.

I enjoy DU. I am a liberal and a proud liberal. I like reading DU, and I enjoy it's mix of young and old.

Avoiding these posts, in view of all the information posted on other boards, which many of us have been forced to follow for information since it was prohitibed to be posted here except for the positive and supportive Andy posts from those who started this sadly mismanaged fund raiser, is mostly done in order not to be attacked, or even tombstoned for having the gall to go against the approved of tide.

I don't find this thread informative at all, and I wish this whole issue, in view of how much it has stirred controversy, would be taken to the new Burch site instead of continuing it here, where it seems to be assumed that the majority of DU people, concur. It is only assumed to be so because NO OTHER opinion is allowed.

If there is a site that addresses all of the skeptics, such as the new Burch site, then address it there instead of assuming that there is complete and total acceptance here on DU of all that has been under the microscope since this began.

Why post it here when there is a whole new site upon which to post this support?

I think this personal issue , with it's continued postings, and with it's obvious censorship of those who may just want to have some questions asked, is quite unfair.

Take it to the Burch site where all those who wish to express support can post. Here, those who do still have some reservations or doubts, are prohibited from expressing that, so these continued threads are taking advantage and leeching off that
DU censorship.

That is NOT fair.
