When it comes to unwinding after a four-month, career-shattering child-molestation trial, there's no place like Bahrain. Having stayed out of sight since his June 13 acquittal, Michael Jackson has grabbed his recently returned passport for a getaway in the tiny Persian Gulf kingdom.
The Gloved One arrived Wednesday night, flying from Europe on a private plane with Sheik Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the 30-year-old son of Bahrain's King Hamad. The prince wouldn't say where Jackson was staying in the 33-island archipelago, which features various heavily guarded royal retreats.
"We will do our best to maintain the privacy he has," said the prince, a friend of Jermaine Jackson.
"During Michael's trial, Sheik Abdullah called many, many times to offer his support," a source told The News' Michelle Caruso.
The source, who said that Michael had brought his three children, is still "recovering and trying to put some weight back on his bones."

Those poor children. I wonder if he's molested them yet.
Where's he going to get his "Jesus Juice" in a muslim country?
