I is especially apalling, weird, interesting, odd, that Cruise finds it necessary to make such a fool of himself over some girl. He didn't find it necessary to make such an @ss of himself over Nicole. What she must think? Probably that she's glad to be out of that scene.

I just wish someone would do an in depth exposure of Scientology. Don't look for it to happen on FOX, since they promote one of the biggest public Scientologists - Greta Van Susteren. Does that mean we have to rely on the lamestream medie for an "outing?"

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) -- U.S. President George W. Bush thanked Danes on Wednesday for sending troops to Iraq and Afghanistan during a visit to the Scandinavian nation on his way to the G8 summit in Scotland.

He also strongly defended his decisions on Iraq, climate change, Guantanamo and aid to Africa -- all things that have made him unpopular in Europe.

Bush, in a news conference Wednesday with Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen outside the white mansion that serves as the Danish leader's official summer residence, also said he would not choose a Supreme Court nominee based on their views on abortion or other hot-button political issues.

The U.S. president spent his 59th birthday in Copenhagen to thank Denmark for the several hundred troops the Scandinavian nation has contributed to the U.S.-led fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.

"We're grateful for your understanding, the people's understanding that freedom is a universal right," he said.

Fogh Rasmussen said the Danes were glad to help with both missions.

"We share the belief that freedom is universal and we share the belief that in the struggle between democracy and dictatorship you cannot stay neutral," the prime minister said.

He said the U.S. and the European must remain "strong and active" partners, calling poverty and war in Africa key challenges.
