I'm sorry about that. I'm not a Guild member but I've always liked HLL and I wanted to speak up for her.
You can be a member of the Guild by me, anytime!
Okay, now say that 5 times very fast:o}
Sorry about contributing to the thread highjack. But then the topic is dreams, and maybe this is just a bad one. Have a good one, day and dream;o}
Thank you. That's a nice thing to say.
To get back on topic: I've had a very similar dream to what Endeavor described earlier in the thread. I sign up for a class, forget about it, and then when finals come around, I'm in a screaming panic because I never went to any of the lectures, nor read the text. I wake up nearly in a cold sweat. And college was a very long time ago.
Nice job of alliteration! Now, tell me about yours dreams! Any good ones?
You're fine and welcome and I don't believe mountaineer's comments were directed at you.
I certainly wasn't referring to you as a hijacker, ES! We appreciate your support.
Carry on, and welcome (to the rest of you).
Sheesh! That stuff must have doubled her weight!
Lack of taste.
Hi! Just passin' thru. I need to get back outside to move the hoses.
Lots of tornado warnings West of us along the MO border.
It doesn't to me either, but I better shut up now.
Don't we all wish our moms had dressed like that while carrying us?
Another Clinton Sells Out

The Nation -- When Barack Obama ran for the Senate he distanced himself from the centrist Democratic Leadership Council (DLC). Hillary Clinton is taking the opposite approach as she tacks toward the Presidency. According to Roll Call and the Des Moines Register, Hillary is set to assume a key "policy role" in the DLC starting in July. Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack will assume the chairmanship from Indiana Senator Evan Bayh, another presumed candidate in '08, with Delaware Senator Tom Carper becoming vice chairman.
Clearly, Hillary hopes that by identifying herself with an organization devoted to bashing the Democratic base she can solidify her moderate credentials. "A senior Democratic aide suggested Clinton's involvement with the DLC is just another move toward expanding her political appeal as she ponders a presidential bid," Roll Call reports (subscription only). As recently as last March, Hillary was not listed in the DLC's New Democratic Directory of elected officials. Now she is.
.... Today, the DLC is trying to promote an agenda of "spurring private sector economic growth, fiscal discipline...community policing...work based welfare reform, expanded international trade and national service," writes Roll Call. That sounds oddly like the Republican agenda of old, hardly a bold platform for Democrats to ride back to power. The DLC used to complain that only attacks on fellow Democrats earned them media coverage. Now they must hope Hillary will.
