We've all done it. You've just gotten home, logged on to FR, and are scrolling down the "Latest Posts" page, deciding which thread will get your attention this evening, when THAT SCREENNAME jumps out at you in a "to" or "from" position. You are powerless to resist; if THAT GUY's there, it's gonna be a good thread...
All of us have our own "favorites" among the many colorful souls who congregate at this fine website. They could be someone you disagree totally with, agree completely with, or somewhere in between. They might be a fount of useful information, links, and facts. Our favorite might be devastating at the art of debate; demolishing opponents in truly unique style, or he might be just plain nuttier than squirrel dung, but fun nonetheless.
Perhaps your favorite FReeper has a way with words; an excellent writer. Maybe they are someone highly experienced in a particular field, with knowledge that many do not posess. Maybe they're dumber than a bag of hammers.
Point is, no matter what the reason, our "favorite FReepers"' handle attached to a thread makes it all the more interesting to us; it guarantees a wild ride or sublime pleasure in the reading and learning. It may also guarantee an increase in blood pressure and indigestion, but one thing's for sure...that thread HE's on is gonna get a hit or two, and it won't be boring.
I've got more than a few of my own, and I'm sure all of you do as well. WHO'S YOURS?????????????????
You rang ?!
...and in answer to your tagline....yes, they do.
Me hope this helps.
Muttly has posted some of his presumed ancestry...well, at least the part he speaks about....including Captain Cook's beloved bulldog, who was guarding the captain's boots one night, when they mysteriously got wet, after many hours of guarding the rum barrels...just in case...which precipitated his finding other employment...and a cute little Australian marsupial dog...my great, great, grea....grandmother...to Benedict Muttly...who fearlessly tested a mutton sandwich for the rowboat oarsman in New Jersey...upon the discovery of which the shouted expletives caused Alexander Hamilton to miss...and Arnold to hit..um...Hamilton...unfortunately....to Stonewall Muttly, who was asleep in the wall when all heck broke loose....just to name a few !
I love your post, Muttly. LOL.
And *that* too, Kathy. :-) LOL.
It's a breathtaking view, Cowman. Just beautiful.
Nice to say, Dolphy.
Kathy !!!!!!!!
Muttly been busy in the Official Secret Compound lately. Nice to have fun people to converse with when I get the chance, though. Hope I find more time to do it soon. Me dread the impending pain and injuries necessary to bring my Yo-Yo expertise back up to snuff if I don't get some practice time in soon. The Canine More-than-once-in-a-row International Yo-Yo Championship is approaching quickly, and I need to be prepared. Perhaps they can postpone it, because of my unexpectedly busy schedule of late. Me shall ask. I'm in with the officials...well...since I'm the only competitor entered so far. Me still think it will be a thrilling and close race. I have historically provided for myself all of the opposition that I can handle.
Cowman, your skills as a gifted photographer are just what the organizers and I need for the Official Photographer of the International Championship.
Would you agree to take the job?
I love the love-birds.
And I love P's tag-line.
I am not sure that I'm half good enough for the yo yo championship. If there is a yo championship I'm your guy though.
Or if my work for Xerox in human cloning comes together...
Thank you my friend. I am honored. :-)
Don't worry, Cowman.
We only need the half that's good enough.
The other half can sit down and have a sammich, and enjoy the thrilling competition.
This year's inaugural games portend to be a very close race...well...once Muttly's Yo-Yo practice swelling goes down..and the bandages some off.
KATHY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's "bandages COME off," Muttly.
Trim your dewclaws before typinh.
ClassyGreenEyed Blonde was a guy pretending to be a gal. Don't ask me how I know that!
