It wasn't until after I accepted my old maidhood that I ran into Big'ol. Just when I start to feel good about myself for being who I am, someone comes along and made me feel better.
My last year of college was vey depressing - all my pals were only after their MRS. degrees.

I'm not after an MRS. But I grew up with this slightly off-mainstream idea of when you're supposed to do things like marriage and children. I'm waiting but... I'm kind of happy with the person I am now. I think I'm an adult, more or less. I've proved whatever it is I needed to prove to myself about being independent... so now it feels like I'm waiting. Not like I think about it all the time but I am ready to start looking.
