During the Battle of Helm's Deep, Gimli and Legolas kept track of their kills. What was the final tally for each? 83 all together... Gimli had 42, besting the elf by 1... Legolas had 42, but most of them I wouldn't uh counted, seein' as they were "long range" kills... not "up close and personal..."

...sent 28 orcs to meet their maker... I always wondered about orcs. They were ruined elves, of course...but while Sauron (and Morgoth before him) could warp, twist, and ruin, I don't know if they could alter the fundamental destiny of a race.
Do you suppose that orcs retain the immortality of their elven heritate? When orcs are killed, do their souls still attempt to return to the Halls of Mandos?
