The pointer(cursor) on my computer screen involuntarily moves across my screen. I am using Firefox have ran several spyware, adware scans and nothing works. Also this has been going on for a few years. I have had 3 computers and several mice. I am hoping someone here can help. Thanks

It should not matter.
and it is not cordless.
Still should not matter
ok thanks
I installed it restarted my computer I will let you know if that worked. If not I will get a new mouse, and see what happens.
Thanks agin to everyone.
Do you use a digitizer board? I do and it can really screw me up. It usually happens when I am checking out the daily bikini & the boss walks by.
Yes, buy a Mac...support Al Gore.
And it continues to happen? On 3 computers?
Clean off the sand and gravel from your desktop or mousepad.
Seriously though, open up the bottom of your mouse and look at the wheels that are moved by the ball...if you don't have an optical mouse with the LED on the bottom.
You may find a lot of lint and crap wound around the wheels. Cleaning this off will help a lot. It has for me in the past...until I said "Screw it" and went optical.
I do use a opitical mouse.
That is odd. Especially since the problem seems to follow you from computer to computer.
I know it is weird, I still think it is some form of spyware since the cursor always moves to a point on the screen that opens something.
