Looking forward to seeing them! I have posted a few and was going to post some of Sugar and Smokey, who were washed and trimmed and looking great yesterday. NOTE that word yesterday ~sighs~ you should see them both now. Guess they discovered a dusty patch of dirt before they dried. What is it about white horses??
White horses hate being white. ;~D
Mt. Rainier in the distance...
The first time Bay passed this white rock he was all snorts and conniption fits, thinking it was some kind of a predator... we tried to show him blowing at it by getting a pic of the second pass, but he was better the second time around.
It's real different to ride through the logged areas, where you can really see the lay of the land.
Below, that furthest green hill you can see is Capital Peak, the highest point in the forest, and where we'd like to eventually be in good enough shape to get to. It's a 30 mile round trip.
Felt good to be back in the cool damp shade ;~D
Here's ecurbh and Cyn working on the mud puddle phobia... She didn't take him off through the brush once today, he stopped and made her walk it. We'd been talking about how to drive her forward better.
Here she was still evading around the edges...
But here she walked it, with a nice head down obedience I might add... she was much better toward the end.
I guess I mean. I keep my horses tied up till they are dry.
