This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.
I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!
I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and Becky pings everyone most mornings. Let Becky (Paynoattentionmanbehindthecurtain) and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

Darn, the mods caught him again, didn't they. He really livens up the thread, and I wish that they'd leave him be. :-( I can think of a lot of trolls who do a lot worse, and heck he really isn't a troll.

Yeah - he's harmless enough, but this isn't the only place he's been.... I've seen him out 'just bein' Keith' around the forum, and he might have been reported for something out there. I'm sure none of us reported him.
If they were watching him and wondering, the naked pic was probably enough to push him off the cliff ;~D

That's a fair assessment in defense of cowtown, he's a goofball, but he's our goofball. Perhaps, unless he did something very untoward we don't know about, they'll reconsider. I'll ping them for consideration.
Admin Mod... several of the ladies on this thread like cowtown, AKA KeithMyloe, and they'll be blue without him.
I swear! I posted an appeal for him!
They don't have to accept the appeal, but I filed it. :~D

This reminds me of when one of the horses down with colic and we are waiting for a poster to come back and tell us what the vet said:')
LOL - Hey if you ladies want to make sure they hear you, then do a 'Report Abuse' and plead his case. They'll notice abuse reports where they may not see my ping.
I don't grasp fully what y'all see in the boy, but I'll accept that he's harmless :~D
I just got home, they banned him AGAIN?! He's been his usual charming self on some threads but in between silliness, he makes a ton of sense. They're crazy to ban him.
He keeps us entertained. :-)And mostly it's because he really wasn't hurting anyone or being obnoxious. Now the risk is to come to his defense without getting banned ourselves! :-)
I just got back on here after cooking supper and cowtown was gone! I couldnt believe it! What he posted was funny, not offensive! I just dont get it. He wasnt doing any harm...........soem of the posters out there are downright offensive, rude, arrogant and need to be removed, but unless he was pi#@*^g off someone on another thread, i dont think anyone here was truly offended were they?

Nope no one here was offended. I think that we should all complain.
Did anyone see "Comment #1,720 Removed by Moderator" before they removed it? was it banning material?
I've seen people on FR being downright cruel, obnoxious, condescending and attacking people on a personal level. Cowtown never does that so I have no idea why he keeps getting banned. Not only is he banned, they removed all of his great posts today.
