*New* The FreeRepublic Saddle Club - Who's Who *pics*

This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.

I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!

I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and Becky pings everyone most mornings. Let Becky (Paynoattentionmanbehindthecurtain) and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.

So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

Cool! They initially displayed as 2 pictures, one below the other but I went and changed my settings to a higher resolution and they went together. I left it that way just long enough to look at the picture then let it go back. It's a nice picture. Thanks!

If you feel up plastic baggies with water and hang them in front of doors and windows flies will not come inside your house. Something about the way they see it scares them away????? Kristy told me this just a week or so ago, and now I'm hearing about it everywhere, and they had them hanging all over the place at the clinic. I noticed it mostly in the snack bar there, and you know I didn't notice that many flies around while we ate there. You all ever hear about this? I was wondering how it would work hanging them along the front of stalls?
I am catching up with the thread and had to comment on this one, what you are suggesting is what is a great idea to get someone soaking wet! You wait till someone goes through the door and rig something to make it pop! LOL Sounds like great fun, i guarantee it will make you forget about the flies! LOL

Jeez Sharn, don't be talking about wanting pictures when Cowtown is prancing around on his front porch buck nekkid. It could get ugly.

Do they just like to feel the breeze on the boys or what??

Maybe he was standing on the porch in his "Titanic" stance, roaring his "I am man" and Mrs Cowtown didn't want to get her rug dirty so just gave him a boot to the butt down into the valley. It would explain the poison ivy to the face, don't you think?:')

You could be right! ROFL
My three year old decided to pee in the yard the other day and instead of just doing it straight in front of him, he went in a wide arc from left to right. I was on his right and got covered. LOL Had to chase his naked behind all over to stop him laughing! (deaconjim thought it was great : D)

When my oldest was about that age I was holding his hand watching something at 6 flags. I heard people laughing and looked down and he was one handedly watering the plants.
