Again, I don't know if he's gay, but everybody in Hollywood thinks Tom Cruise is gay.
Uh, could it be the fact that he lived with Geffen for several years?
Every homosexual person likes to think everyone else is, but has just not discovered or admitted it.
Given that Hollywood probably has a higher percentage of homosexuals in it than, say, Abeline, TX, a great many people probably think Cruise is one too.

And Scientology not only condemns homosexuality, but calls for the deletion of such sexual deviants from society.
Of course, L. Ron Hubbard was bi-sexual (to put it nicely) and a deviant himself, so this public front is merely a tool for the selective prosecution of so-called "1.1's". Cruise works very hard to preserve that tool.
