Granted, they blow up with alarming frequency, but you've never driven one in the mountains have you?

They don't really blow-up, they slowly loose compression until day it floods out on start up. Engine is only good for 100K max. They are fun to drive, especially with a couple of turbos, but I have to say there is no substitute for cubic inches. ;)

Yeah, the seals go. I've got one with 48,000+ miles on the engine and another that I'm dropping a factory remanufactured engine into with about 35,000 miles on it....

You just have to spin faster.
