Yeah, Episode 1 was pretty bad as well. But the excitement of seeing another Star Wars movie was enough to get me most of the way through that one before I realized that there wasn't much to the movie, and that the special effects were mostly a cover-up for the bad acting.
Episode 2 had a good deal of bad acting, and nothing to excite. Hubby and I were literally sitting in the theater, asking each other when we thought the movie would end. I still remember how, as we walked out, I commented that I was angry at myself for wasting $20 on tickets and overpriced sodas at a time that our finances were so tight.
You couldn't pay me to watch Episode 3. Even if it didn't have a bunch of digs by a gazillionaire limosine liberal at President Bush and conservatism in general.
We are even having a RED5JEDI Birthday cake and lightsaber contests- and I am going to be right there playing it all with him. ( And that is what kid's birthday parties are for in the first place; a time when adults can act like kids too! hehe!)
