Yeah, Episode 1 was pretty bad as well. But the excitement of seeing another Star Wars movie was enough to get me most of the way through that one before I realized that there wasn't much to the movie, and that the special effects were mostly a cover-up for the bad acting.

Episode 2 had a good deal of bad acting, and nothing to excite. Hubby and I were literally sitting in the theater, asking each other when we thought the movie would end. I still remember how, as we walked out, I commented that I was angry at myself for wasting $20 on tickets and overpriced sodas at a time that our finances were so tight.

You couldn't pay me to watch Episode 3. Even if it didn't have a bunch of digs by a gazillionaire limosine liberal at President Bush and conservatism in general.

I got back into StarWars again after seeing it thru the eyes of my son. We have the first three on DVD and watch them all the time. IT has brought back a ton of good memories for me. I am getting my little guy a light saber for his birthday. Now they have a video game that accompanies the light saber! (OF course they do!) I can't wait to play it with him!

We are even having a RED5JEDI Birthday cake and lightsaber contests- and I am going to be right there playing it all with him. ( And that is what kid's birthday parties are for in the first place; a time when adults can act like kids too! hehe!)
