In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs today.
The rest of the stuff is locked up in my drawer. Im just letting all the new students know that we behave as if we were ladies and gentlemen in here. Those two words as if can get you an A if you make the subbie laugh.
ZOIC
Adjective combining form
Pronunciation: Zoic
Etymology: [Greek] (zoicos) Of or pertaining to animals
1) Animal: having an animal mode of existence: animal life and action.
2) Of or relating to a (specified) geological era.
I guess we could say Hobbes1 is a tigerzoic humanoid. So sorry, Tiger. It was a low fast ball.
You can use any root word for the zoic. Just make it sound like we know what were writing.

Forget the sugar stuff....it's highly overrated as an inspirational medicine.
I find steak works much much better!
(We eat weird breakfasts at my house. My son usually eats a can of chili with cheese or eggs mixed in. I like a small piece of steak, a low-carb yogurt smoothie, and coffee. My hubby eats corn flakes mixed with raisin bran and then a tamale. Definitely not your classical breakfast.)

I agree, Knitting. And actually, I don't do sugar or starch or any empty calories. And your household meals sound like ours!
So why can't I coherentize? LOL.

I'd say
this guy is lucky his disappointed bride wasn't you. As it is, she only sued him.

how ridiculous to award damages though. an annulment, yes, it was void ab initio which would qualify for an annulment in the Catholic church, as well as legally. but heck, unless she stayed married to him for eons, i would think she could move on to the next stud. geez, if spouses were allowed to recover just for time wasted in a marriage think how much money would be passing around.

Definitely. I'll stake the other half of my lunch sandwich on it. And I have a good sandwich today, sprouts and all. I'm sorry Missy's lunch sprouted thongs.
(Maybe if she kept in the refrigerator? Or would that cool her arbor?)
