do we know it was a nut or is there a bad actor here? i have been driving around NOVA retrieving kids i am not uptodate on info.

It was a student pilot, with an instructor, enroute from PA to NC. DC was in their way, so they just flew over.

I bet the instructor loses his license.

The DC aviation map says, DO NOT FLY HERE - YOU WILL BE SHOT DOWN (or something similar)
