Lott believes the Republicans ran him out by not standing by him. There is no love lost between him and the Bush White House. He believes the Bush team decided that Frist should be the next Republican Presidential nominee and that is why the WH didn't stand by him.
Good point, yet it is irrelevant at this juncture. We have been sold a bill of goods and our will has been thwarted. It has been thwarted by just the attempt at compromise. It has been thwarted by those who took our money, blood, sweat, and tears, all of which I have contributed in the last 5 years, for the promise of furthering an agenda we all agree on. The minority Dems beat the Majority Republicans....again!
