Absolutely beautiful, both the poem and the graphic.

Thank You.

Summers' fading fast
My flowers droop and hang their head
Soon the birds will all fly south
Now even my lovely garden's dead.
Soon dying leaves will fall
Swirling russet, orange and golden hue
The loneliness....will then set in
Causing me...to always think of you.

For you are gone far away
And I'm so alone.....
With only memories of our time
A love that really was sublime
When we held each other close
In an embrace of precious love.
Remembering our time together
Through all this changing weather
How I yearn for your return.

Then Autumn winds will blow
Ripping off the remaining leaves
The trees will then stand stark and bare
Then the sadness sets in and even deep despair.
The Winter wind races by
It chills my bones and stings my face
But in my heart....it is pure ice
In my soul a terrible, empty place.

Oh how I miss you
I wish you were here
To dry my tears and kiss me once again
Whisper gentle words into my ear
Words that heal and cause my heart to mend.
But Spring will come again
When lilacs perfume the air
Return to me...is my silent prayer.
