Does anybody think it would be unethical to take a back door approach to encouraging someone to "get it"? I really want to send this one client some links to articles such as this In fact, the story in the link reminds me very much of this case. I don't want her to know who they are coming from, so it might even be a good idea to have such stories sent to her by different people. I have a yahoo email address for her, but have never corresponded with her by email.

I honestly don't mean it in an ugly way at all. Personally, I think she's pretty much a lost cause, but having worked in prison ministry at one time and seen some amazing transformations, I'm never quite ready to consider a person hopeless. I just want to give this woman a different perspective (the one that most reasonable people have) in hopes that if she has a conscience at all, it will help. If it doesn't, she is coming very close to losing her kids for good. Perhaps she should, but she should have ample opportunity for an epiphany, as well as something more to think about. Opinions?

I would be very careful doing that

It could come back to you and get you in some trouble

Why not send her the story from the original source?

My two pennies worth...

Thanks for caring.

I would not send it, Libby, because of the sensitive nature of your job.
