Anyone with a brain should be up in arms over all the various taxing authorities that are hosing us down. I miss the days of the poll tax, when if you didn't own property, you had no say in any election that affected property taxes, or anything else for that matter.
I just watered the lawn, and now there's a flock of birds removing all the insects that have come up for air...nature's truly amazing.

Ah, interesting about the poll tax. The city and county squander our 2K on the most loser public schools around. I don't know how Phoenix gets school money but it's not from property taxes; theirs are miniscule compared to ours. People who scraped together money for homes but not for children shouldn't have to pay for those who breed and won't pay for schools.
I know, I'm bad... A lawn! Gasp. The birds sound nice.
