Ouch.
Somewhere along the line my missus picked up the idea that she didn't have ot listen to anything I said.
This included telling her that she was hurting me.
Multiply this out over the ten years I've been with her, married for 8, and you get a small pic of what went down.
She said and did things that I can never forgive.
Her family doesn't care much about her, only my family did.
So she has lost through her own stubbornness and choices a family.
She has nowhere to go, really.
But she chose this.
Out of everyone she ahs ever been with, I was the only one who really loved her.
And when her daughter died, I was the only one there for her.
I don'y understand what happened, but I understand where you are coming from as well.
Cripes, what luck we both have, right?
(I'm used to being hated by her, as she never showed me love.)

Sorry, I haven't gone camping in a long time. The marshmallow stuff gets everywhere when you're out of practice, so I'm kinda glued to everything.

Hey OCC, how's Ohio tonight?Hot and balmy... I stole the tagline from a Mary Jane Kopekne memorial thread. Even JFK knew Ted was a loser.

Darks, I know the pain. I met my husband when he was a thirty eight year old bachelor who had had live in relationships that lasted less than a year.
He was determined not to marry and have natural children or his own.
I begged him to marry me, because I loved him. But, he could never carry the responsibility of a family, that I had. It was always my children who were misbehaving and I got the grief for it, always.
I admire your love for your stepdaughter.

My Dad has a home on lake George.. on the Indiana/Michigan boarder. I'm familiar with the thumb of the Michigan mitten... but not the pinky!

Been all along the coast. This is the nicest by far.
Anything new to report for you?

I come away from this one with deep regrets for ever having thought it was a good idea, let alone thinking she was honest.
I'm surprised at the fact that I'm not crying.
This disturbs me in a way.
My other regret is that being a parent, even an ersatz parent, ended as soon as it did.
Thanks.
I do wish she were here.
She'd probably have found something to get me laughing over.
