REMEDY #1: APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
From the amazing reader feedback we have been receiving, it appears that Apple Cider Vinegar is one of the best remedies to cure acid reflux.

Bob, from Princeton, NJ writes, "You need to get real apple cider vinegar. Heinz is not real. Go to a health food store - even GNC has ACV w/mother. (Mother is the sediment at the bottom).
Shake well. Add one teaspoon to a glass and add a little less than a mouthful of distilled water. I also add a few drops of cayenne to it. If you have RAW organic honey - a bit of that mixed in can make it taste better. Drink this 10 minutes before meals. Do not drink any more liquid until at least 30 minutes after eating.
Anyone I know who does this no longer has ANY need for Prevacid, etc."

I hate taking all of those new medications out there, they create more problems in other areas. After talking to many people and doing lots of research online, I decided to try vinegar. I first bought Heinz. Then I read that Heinz was not real vinegar and that I should try Bragg. I actually did not have to go to a health food store. I bought it at Safeway. My throat was raw, but it made it feel better within the first half and hour."

You're welcome! I recently started hearing about this, and know several people who have tried it and swear by it! In fact, one friend doesn't even have to take it anymore at all - it cured him. I don't trust the pharm companies and try to find natural cures whenever possible...
What I find out with my stomach problem is that it started all of a sudden....out of the blue last week, and then hasn't quit bothering me....I don't like taking meds, either, so I hadn't done anything but drink ginger ale or 7-up, quit drinking coffee during the day, as well as colas.....(except for the a.m.....I have to have some coffee as I will get severe headaches by 9:00 a.m. if I haven't had any coffee...I'm apparently addicted to caffeine)

I think I saw that guy on t.v. selling his book about those natural cures. I find it interesting, but I don't want to buy a book about natural cures....have you bought his book? Is it worth spending money on?
